![]() ![]() It changes by the time you reach Mausoleum but the impact is already strong as you’ll find yourself stuck and unable to accept quests, having to change your mindset entirely in the bat of an eye, this is also especially problematic for the people who either ignored or forgot about the first lv50 dungeon as they will end up being extremely under-leveled. I’m not expecting the game to hold your hands the whole time and lead you through every single map there is to complete, but for the first 60 levels, that’s exactly what the game does and puts you in a mindset which gets you to expect it will be the same for the rest of the game. The reminder needs to go, but I would totally welcome appropriate reminders of similar nature. ![]() ![]() You can’t exactly say progression isn’t effed up considering the amount of knowledge needed and Exp Cards management to ensure an enjoyable experience. My second playthrough took me a week, my first took me 3 weeks. The only grind happened in Demon Prison and it took only 4 hours a day for 2 days. On my next playthrough, I went through every single map I knew of before hand, didn’t miss any dungeons (note that nothing points you towards the dungeons, some of which you might ignore existence altogether), saved all Lv6 Exp cards, grinded Demon Prison till level 165, used all Exp Cards and then continued questing and dungeons all the way to 200. On my first blind playthrough, I ended up missing all dungeons, I met at least 5 grind walls (Mausoleum Constructor Chapel, Mage Tower 4f, Penitence Route/Legwyn Family, Demon Prison District 2/2nd Demon Prison, Ruklys Street) and had to grind for at least 5-10 levels each (including the infamous 160+ grind where each level used to take 3-4 hours of grind max on best case scenario before the double exp). ![]() Exp Cards, Dungeons and Demon Prison are literally the only 3 things that matter. Grinding in this game is barely any worth. Speaking of grind-walls, thing is, you can possibly reach level 200 with the minimal possible grind, but it takes effort in managing the infamous Exp Cards. It is unclear at this point of whether the game expects you to complete every area under the directive of a main quest, or expects you to explore and complete them yourself. Game’s progression is currently fairly weird and unless someone can properly explain why the main quest gets you through an insanely underleveled area, a recommended level area and then an insanely high level dungeon area, along with resetting exp requirements to 1/10 every about 50 levels, I would love to be enlightened.Īpparently the game does not expect you to access Kateen Forest prior to completing Mage Tower, similarly nothing points towards the sins pilgrimage until the Sanctuary main quest-line, I don’t recall any mentions of the area north of Klaipeda either. Players who are doing the game quests will be forced to move to Kateen Forest once they enter the Mage Tower. What is that? That is completelly awkward, why the next zone I have to go is lower leveled than the Mage Tower, and why I have to level up on that zone before I enter the Mage Tower? …until you discover that once finishing the Mage Tower quest line you are introduced to Kateen Forest? Once reaching Kateen Forest, you get some levels there by doing some quests, farming monsters, and then get enough level to be able to return to the Mage Tower and do the entire quest line… Well, there is a problem on Mage Tower progression line.Īfter reaching Fedimian, you are introduced with quests to visit the Mage Tower, the problem is, you meet a Grind Wall once you enter the tower, since you already may have met those grind walls before, you will think “Hey, there may be some place to level up hidden on the world map”, then you meet Kateen Forest zones. ![]()
